Our mission is to provide a safe space for all animals, while offering resources and educational opportunities to the Punta de Mita area.

What We Do
Wet Noses Rescue is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit and registered Mexican Asociación Civil with a shelter in Punta de Mita, Mexico. Through our shelter, foster network, and cross-border programs, we provide life-saving medical care, facilitate adoptions, and host community spay/neuter clinics to reduce overpopulation and create lasting change.
Why It Matters
In many parts of Mexico, thousands of dogs and cats are born into homelessness each year. Without access to spay/neuter and veterinary care, animals suffer from preventable disease, injury, and neglect.
At Wet Noses Rescue, we are working to change that. Through rescue, medical care, education, and community spay/neuter clinics, we not only save lives—we help prevent future suffering and create lasting change for animals and the communities we serve.
