Meet Taro, a brave dog who has endured an unimaginable amount of pain and suffering. He was found wandering the streets of La Cruz with a devastating wound on his face that has left half of it severely damaged. We suspect that he may have been abused, or injured by firecrackers, but we may never know for sure.

We knew we had to act fast to help Taro, so we made a post about him on social media this morning after getting a report of him. Thanks to the kindness of the owner of Vegan Paradice in La Cruz, Taro was found and brought to us. That’s how he got his name – a tribute to the delicious vegan ice cream served at @vegan.paradicecream

Despite everything he has been through, Taro has remained remarkably calm and friendly. His resilience is truly inspiring. Taro’s journey to recovery will be a long one, but with your support, we know he can make it. Please consider donating to help cover his medical bills and rehabilitation expenses. Every little bit counts and will make a big difference in Taro’s life. Together, we can help this brave dog heal and find the loving home he deserves.
